I MUST paint my 1990s honey-oak kitchen cabinets white. Just have to figure out how to get the hubby on-board. Hmmm...

girl, I did it. House built 1990. Golden oak cabinets, good condition but hella ugly, with ivory formica and white vinyl sheet flooring. Now dark white cabinets with soapstone counters and dark brown wood floors. It isn't quite like throwing the whole kitchen into a dumpster and starting from scratch, but it's good enough!
It's YOUR kitchen. :) Tell him you will paint HIS garage PINK if he doesn't get on board. :)

Oh, I am so wilth you!!! Everyone thinks I am nuts for wanting to paint my oak a retro green. The only thing holding me back is how much work it will be!
